Recreation Centre Timms Community Centre


Timms Community Centre and Douglas Recreation Centre are currently CLOSED to the public.  However some programs and services are now available!

Weight Room- open for pre-booked sessions only.  Find out how to book your 90 minute session now! 

Fitness Classes- limited fitness classes are now being offered at Timms Community Centre.  Participants must book a class at least 24 hours in advance.  Find out how to register for a fitness class now!   TCC Fitness Classes

Swimming- Al Anderson Memorial Pool is closed for the season.

Fitness Track and Games Room - Closed to the public.

All monthly or annual recreation memberships are on hold until further notice. Additional days will be added to a membership to compensate for the duration of the hold.
Memberships may be un-suspended if participants wish to use their passes for weight room, fitness or swimming sessions now.  Please phone:  604-514-2940 to find out more about memberships and payment methods.

Langley City offers recreation, community and cultural programs throughout the year at its many facilities. 

Timms Community Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a multitude of amenities including a weight room with state-of-the-art cardio equipment from Technogym with Excite Android-based cardio consoles, dedicated spin classes, a fitness room with a wooden spring floor, indoor fitness track, programs for youth, seniors, families, new immigrants and persons with disabilities, gymnasium, games room, and a community kitchen that connects to a multi-purpose room for entertaining. 

Douglas Recreation Centre offers a community kitchen, three hall spaces, games room, preschool room and a multipurpose room. Al Anderson Memorial Pool is an outdoor pool that opens every May and closes at the beginning of September of every year. The pool offers public swims, swimming lessons, swim meets and much more. Our fees for drop-in admissions, swipe passes, 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year passes are valid at Timms Community Centre and Douglas Recreation Centre. All prices include taxes. Fees are valid and subject to change without notice. The following fees are valid during drop-in times.

Best Value: Annual Pass

The Annual Pass includes Unlimited Access to the fitness track, weight room, drop-in fitness classes, drop-in sports, games room*, Al Anderson Memorial Pool (AAMP), AAMP public swim, AAMP length swim and AAMP Aquafit classes.  * Access to Pool tables, Shuffleboards, Table Tennis, foosball, Wii U console, XBox console, and board games. Annual Passes may be purchased using a valid credit card.

The Leisure Access Program provides the City of Langley residents with the opportunity to participate in leisure activities at a reduced cost. Applications are available at all of our recreation facilities or you can download a copy here.
