Girls Multisport Camp
Stay active this summer with sport! This weeklong camp is designed to give young females the knowledge, confidence, skill and self esteem to continue to be active during their teen years and for their entire lives! Physical activity and sport are crucial to leading a healthy life. Young females drop out of sports at an alarming rate in todays society. Commonly this is due to perceived lack of skills and confidence, especially when compared to male counterparts With funding from Jumpstart, the City of Langley will be operating a girls only camp to help young girls gain these skills and confidence in a comfortable, supportive and safe setting.
Sports that we will focus on include basketball, soccer, volleyball and badminton. In addition, youth will be able to take part in other physical activity such as swimming, fun games, nature walks and parkour!
This camp will be taking place at HD Stafford Middle school. Camps are 1 week long from Monday to Friday and run from 9am to 3pm. Camps will start running the week of July 5th to the week of August 30th. The registration cost for each week is $25. Financial assistance is available.
