About the Festival
The City of Langley's Arts, Recreation, Culture, and Heritage (ARCH) Committee and the Langley Arts Council are excited to host B.C. filmmakers in the first Langley City Film Festival (LCFF).
We received 76 film submissions under this year's theme “Transitions” which were accepted from November 30, 2022 - June 30, 2023. Throughout the weekend, you can enjoy 37 films that will be presented throughout the 4 screenings, awards, and filmmaker’s panels.

Award Categories:
General Awards (Applicants 19+)
- Stock (30 seconds to 5 minutes, including credits)
- 1st Place: $1000
- Runner-up: Certificate of participation
- Short (5-40 minutes, including credits)
- 1st Place: $1000
- Short Runner-up: Certificate of participation
- Feature (40-90 minutes, including credits)
- 1st Place: $1000
- Runner-up: Certificate of participation
Student Awards (Applicants 18 & under)
- Short (10-60 seconds, including credits)
- 1st Place: $100 Gift Card
- Runner-up: Certificate of participation
- Medium (1-3 minutes, including credits)
- 1st Place : $100 Gift Card
- Runner-up: Certificate of participation
- Long (3-5 minutes, including credits)
- 1st Place: $100 Gift Card
- Runner-up: Certificate of participation
