Bylaw 3255 - 2023-2027 Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw
Council gave final reading to to Bylaw 3255 which amends the 2023-2027 Financial Plan by adding some projects to the Capital Improvement Plan for which funding from grants has been received and increasing funding of some projects already in the Capital Improvement Plan so they may be completed.
Bylaw 3206 - Zoning Amendment No. 188 and Development Permit No. DP 01-22
Council gave final reading to Bylaw 3206 and approved Development Permit DP01-22 to rezone the property located at 20816 45A Avenue from RS1 Single Family Residential Zone to the CD84 Comprehensive Development Zone to accommodate a 6-unit rowhouse development.
Housing Accelerator Fund Application
Council approved the City’s grant application to the CMHC's Housing Accelerator Fund program, the intent of which is to increase the growth of housing supply by incentivizing local governments to make regulatory and procedural reforms through a monetary grant.
Award of Tender T2023-012, McBurney Plaza Redevelopment
Council awarded Tender T2023-012, McBurney Plaza Redevelopment to Cedar Crest Lands (BC) Ltd. In the amount of $529,395.00 (excluding GST), approved a project contingency of 20% or $105,879 (excluding GST) to address potential variations, and authorized the Director of Engineering, Parks and Environment and the Corporate Officer to execute the contract document for Tender T2023-012.
