Each summer the Recreation, Culture & Community Services department presents our annual Sounds of Summer Concert series which features live music programming at the Douglas Park Spirit Square. Each week features two bands/musicians performing a one-hour set; the series runs for ten weeks, June to August.
We invite all musicians, emerging and established, to submit their interest via this online application. Each application will be evaluated and only those selected to participate will be contacted.
2026 Projected Timeline:- January 19: Artist Call Opens- March 16: Artist Call Closes- March 17-31: Application Review- April 1-15: Selected Artists Contacted- June 10: Concert Series Starts
