Regular Council Meetings are held at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Langley City Hall (20399 Douglas Crescent).
Public Hearings are held on an as-needed basis, usually on the same day as Regular Council Meetings. When a Public Hearing is required, it is held at 7:00 pm with the Regular Council Meeting immediately following after the close of the Public Hearing.

While Council Chambers undergo renovations, Regular Council Meetings held between September 23, 2024, and December 9, 2024, pending renovation, will be recorded and linked on the Langley City YouTube Channel.

Regular meetings held in person at City Hall, members of the public are welcome to attend Council Chambers on the second floor at City Hall to observe the proceedings.
For meetings held remotely by video conference members of the public are welcome to attend the virtual Zoom meeting to observe the proceedings. To do so, please email the Deputy Corporate Officer at councilmeetings@langleycity.ca to request the Zoom meeting link. Your email must be received no later than 12:00pm on the day of the meeting and you will need to provide your full name and email address. The Zoom meeting link will be forwarded to you with further instructions for attending the meeting.
Please note: in order to attend the electronic meeting you will need to download the Zoom application to your device, however you do not need to create an account.
Alternatively, if you wish to attend City Hall in person to view the Zoom electronic meeting on screen, you may do so by proceeding to the CKF Boardroom on the second floor prior to the start of the meeting.
The City of Langley welcomes delegations and Community Spotlights on all subject matters within Council's jurisdiction. Delegations or community spotlights are presentations to Council by a member of the public or an organization highlighting topics of municipal interest or concern.
Delegation is a term used to define the process whereby an individual, group, or organization appears before Langley City Council to make a request of Council, monetary or otherwise.
Community Spotlight is a term for the process by which an individual, group, or organization appears before Langley City Council to provide information or updates on an event or activities.
Please complete and submit the form to appear as a Delegation or Community Spotlight. Upon receipt of the form, the Administration staff will advise you as to the date and time for your delegation to the City Council.

Please ensure your request is received by Noon on Wednesday before the scheduled Council Meeting. A maximum of three (3) Delegations and two (2) Community Spotlights can be heard at any Regular Council Meeting.
While staff will try to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that you will be scheduled for the council meeting of your choice.
Regardless of the number of people in your delegation or the topics you wish to cover, the delegation as a whole is permitted 5 minutes to submit to Council, and Community Spotlights are permitted 10 minutes. If you have written material that you wish to provide to Council before the meeting, please forward it to the Administration Department by noon on the Tuesday before your scheduled appearance. Council will then have sufficient time to review the material before the meeting. Please note, that any material that you provide will be included in the respective public meeting agenda and made available to the public upon request.
