Langley City recognizes that child care is an important service for its residents, enables parents to work and contribute to the local economy, strengthens neighbourhoods and helps to build a more attractive, stable and complete community.
One of the recommendation from the Langley City Child Care Action Plan was to create created a resource page for parents looking for child care and help child care operators navigate through opening a centre.

Child Care BC is the provincial government's child care portal. It includes information on the different types of child care programs, finding and choosing child care, funding opportunities, opening or running a child care program, support for child care providers, etc.
Langley Children provides information and resources for parents and people working with children ages 0 to 12. The website is maintained by the Langley Children's Committee which is a collaborative partnership of public and non-profit agencies operating in Langley on behalf of children aged 0-12 years.
The Child Care Resource & Referral (CCRR) Program offers free consultation, support, assistance with affordable child care benefit applications and referral services to parents seeking child care in Langley. The program supports child care providers through information, outreach, a resource library, and networking and learning opportunities.
