NATURE IN FIBER
Langley Weavers and Spinners Guild Exhibition
December 6, 2025 - January 16, 2026
Nature in Fiber highlights the many ways fibre can capture the beauty of the natural world. Artists explore textures, patterns, and colours in both functional and decorative artworks, including delicate hand-knitted lace, tapestry wall hangings, and wearable pieces like shawls, boots, and a vest.
The exhibition celebrates creativity and craftsmanship, inviting visitors to appreciate the skill behind each work and the ways artists draw inspiration from the shapes, textures, and colours of nature.

The Free Little Art Gallery
Location: Timms Community Centre (20399 Douglas Crescent)
Facilitated By: Langley City and Finding Present
The Free Little Art Gallery Langley is a community-driven initiative designed to provide a no-cost, accessible space where youth can display, share, and take home artwork without oversight or judgment. Inspired by the growing movement of Free Little Art Galleries across North America and the Lower Mainland. The Langley City Free Little Art Gallery (FLAG) for Youth is the 2nd Youth specific FLAG in B.C. and the first on this side of the Fraser River.
This project offers a miniature display case/cabinet where young artists can proudly showcase their creations in a public setting. Much like the well-known Little Free Libraries, this gallery also operates on a “take one, leave one” model and includes free art supplies such as sketchbooks, markers, paints, and brushes for youth who may face financial or material barriers to participation.
