    The Village Cafe Series is holding a Moose Hide Campaign Day--a ceremony to come together to stand against violence towards women and children, while making strides in the journey towards reconciliation. 

    The Moose Hide Campaign started in British Columbia as an initiative led by Indigenous people to engage men in the fight against violence towards women and children. It has now become a nationwide movement involving both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians from various areas, including local communities, First Nations, government, schools, police, and many organizations—all committed to addressing this issue.
