Art Programs

For most registered programs, a full refund is available with at least 5 days’ notice of withdrawal/transfer. If less than 5 days’ notice is received, a 10% withdrawal fee will be charged.

There will be no refund after the end of the 2nd class.

Exceptions include:

• Day camps, all aquatic programs and lessons, and one-day programs
• Registration fees are refundable if a request for withdrawal/transfer is received at least 5 days before the start of the program. If less than 5 days’ notice is received, 50% of the registration fees will be refunded.
• A withdrawal from any of these programs will be charged a 10% withdrawal fee per activity session.

• Registration fees are non-refundable once the program date has started.

Licensed preschool

One month’s payment will be charged if you do not provide one calendar months’ notice in writing.

Single session fitness and gymnasium programs

Two days' notice is required for a refund or transfer into another program.

Admission passes

• All admission passes are non-refundable.
• An Annual Pass can be frozen one time, per pass term for up to two months.
• Patrons must call or visit the facility in person to make the request before the start date of the freeze period.
• If patrons are on a monthly payment plan, the payments will continue during the time the pass is frozen.

Failed payments

A $30 administration fee will be charged on all returned or declined payments.

Two consecutive failed or declined payment plan payments will result in the plan cancellation, and the entire balance will become due immediately.

Program cancellations

Some programs are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Should Langley City cancel a program, you can choose one of the following:

1. Full refund
2. Credit on account
3. Enrollment in another available program will be made.

Please allow three to four weeks for processing a refund cheque. Payments made by debit or cash will be refunded by cheque or account credit.

Facility rentals

• Two weeks’ notice is required for a full refund. If less than two weeks’ notice is given, a $25 administrative fee is applied.
• No refunds are given with less than 2 days’ notice. 
• For most registered programs, a full refund is available with at least 5 days’ notice of withdrawal/transfer.

Some programs are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Should we cancel a program, your preference of a full refund, credit on account, or enrollment in another available program will be made. Our photographer may be in our parks and facilities taking photos for use in promotional materials, such as our Recreation Guide, website and digital marketing materials. We will ask for verbal consent or a waiver form prior to taking close-up pictures. If you or your child prefer not to be photographed, please let the photographer know.
