Langley City brings back free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on November 7

Date

Langley City, B.C. – Langley City residents can safely dispose of eligible household hazardous waste at a free collection event on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at City Park, 4949 207 Street.

The event provides a convenient option for household materials that should not go in garbage, recycling, or organic carts, or be poured down drains. Langley City last held a similar event jointly with the Township of Langley in 2022. This year, Langley City is hosting its own event.

“Household hazardous materials should never go in garbage, recycling or organic carts, or down the drain. Improper disposal can contaminate waterways and groundwater and harm human health and the environment,” said Rachel Ollenberger, Manager of Engineering Services. “This free event gives Langley City residents a convenient way to dispose of these materials safely and responsibly.”
