Langley City Invites Applications for 2026 Community Grants

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Langley City is now accepting applications for the 2026 community grants program, encouraging local non-profit organizations and neighbourhood groups to bring forward ideas that connect residents, strengthen community connection, and enhance quality of life in our city.

Community grants provide financial assistance and in-kind support to eligible non-profit groups and neighbourhood-led projects that serve Langley City residents.

“Community grants are one of the most meaningful ways the City invests directly in residents, neighbourhoods, and local organizations,” said Graham Flack, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer. “These funds empower residents and groups to expand their impact, bring neighbours together, and create opportunities that strengthen the social fabric of Langley City. When we support community-led initiatives, we build a more connected and resilient city for everyone.”

Last year, Langley City awarded $168,000 in community support to 48 organizations, helping deliver programs, events, and services that directly benefit residents. Since the Community Grant Program began, the City has provided over $2.6 million to non-profit and community organizations, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to building a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community.

Applications for 2026 must be submitted online by March 2, 2026
