Bylaw 3308 - Financial Plan 2025-2029 Bylaw
Council adopted Bylaw No. 3308 Financial Plan 2025-2029 which provides a five year budgetary framework for the City to manage its resources, revenues, and expenditures.
Accessibility Advisory Committee - Micromobility Devices
Council considered a recommendation from the City's Accessibility Advisory Committee and passed the following motion:
THAT Council review and consider developing guidelines and bylaws on the use of micromobility devices for the protection and safety of the citizens of Langley City.
Environmental Sustainability Committee – Amendment to Terms of Reference to add Seniors Representative
Council considered a recommendation from the City's Environmental Sustainability Committee and passed the following motion:
THAT Council approve the proposed amendment to the Environmental Sustainability Committee Terms of Reference to add a seniors representative to the membership.
Housing Target Progress Report – Half Year
Council received the Housing Target Progress Report for the period of August 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025 which identifies the City's progress towards meeting provincial housing targets issued to the City as part of new provincial housing legislation.
Community Emergency Preparedness Fund Emergency Support Service
Council passed a motion supporting the grant application entitled “Community Emergency Preparedness Fund Emergency Support Services” to the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM)’s Community Preparedness Fund to purchase equipment, supplies and training.
Community Emergency Preparedness Fund Grant Application
Council passed a motion supporting the grant application entitled “City of Langley Emergency Operations Centre Preparedness Project” to the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) under the Community Emergency Preparedness Fund to purchase equipment, supplies and training for the Emergency Operation Centre in the amount of $39,870.25.
