There will be no refund after the end of the 2nd class.
Exceptions include:
Day Camps, all aquatic programs and lessons, and one day programs
Registration fees are refundable if a request for withdrawal/transfer is received at least 5 days before the start of the program. If less than 5 days’ notice is received, 50% of the registration fees will be refunded.
A withdrawal from any of these programs will be charged a 10% withdrawal fee per activity session.
Registration fees are non-refundable once the program date has started.
Licensed Preschool
One month’s payment will be charged if you do not provide one calendar months’ notice in writing.
Single Session Fitness and Gymnasium Programs
Two (2) days' notice is required for a refund or transfer into another program.
Admission Passes
All admission passes are non-refundable.
An Annual Pass can be frozen one time per pass term for up to two months. Patrons must call or visit a facility to make the request prior to the start date of the freeze period. If patrons are on a monthly payment plan, the payments will continue during the time the pass is frozen.
Failed Payments
A $30.00 administration fee will be charged on all returned or declined payments.
Two consecutive failed/declined payment plan payments will result in the plan cancellation, and the entire balance will become due immediately.
Program Cancellations
Some programs are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Should we cancel a program, your preference of a full refund, credit on account, or enrollment in another available program will be made.
Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing a refund cheque. Payments made by debit or cash will be refunded by cheque or account credit.
Facility rentals
Two weeks’ notice is required for a full refund. If less than two weeks’ notice is given, a $25 administrative fee is applied. No refunds given with less than 2 days’ notice.
Financial Assistance Programs
The City of Langley believes that participation in recreation benefits all members of our community. If you are a low-income resident living in the City of Langley, you may qualify for the Leisure Access Program. This program offers access to recreation programs and services at a reduced cost.
Apply for the Leisure Access Program
Complete the Leisure Access Grant application form and submit it to one of our recreation facilities, or email it to recreation@langleycity.ca. You will be contacted within three weeks of your submission.
Make sure to attach the following documentation with your application as it cannot be processed without it.
- proof of address (recent utility bill in the name of the applicant)
- pay stub from your employer
- Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment(s) for all income earners in the family
Eligibility
To qualify for the program, you must meet the Leisure Access Program income requirements. You do not qualify for the Leisure Access Grant Program if you are a temporary resident, including those on study and work permits.
Benefits
If your application is approved, each family member permanently living in the household will receive a discount (25%-75%) to cover the cost of either a City of Langley program or pass, or an aquatic pass to the indoor pools located in the area (this option is available to adults and seniors only).

KidSport Langley provides grants to help cover the cost of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Langley can play a season of sport.
The chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $300 per kid per year, for kids who live in Langley, or in one of the other communities KidSport serves.
Apply for a grant, or visit their website for further information.
