Traffic impacts

  • Project estimated to start mid-August
  • Construction will go from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm as per the noise bylaw
  • Lane closures with single-lane alternating traffic are expected at all locations intermittently, except on Fraser Highway, where at least one lane should remain open in both directions at all times.

Full project description

  • A total of 13,223 m² of roadway pavement will be improved.
  • Approximately 6,910 m² of asphalt will be rehabilitated on 198 Street, 208 Street, and Fraser Highway by removing the existing worn asphalt and replacing it with new asphalt.
  • Approximately 6,313 m² of roadway on Brydon Crescent and 199A Street will receive targeted asphalt repairs in areas identified by City staff and the contractor, followed by a new top layer of asphalt across the road surface.
