From 5 Jan to 6 Feb, 198 St (53 Ave–54 Ave) will be fully closed in both directions from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for sanitary main replacement.

Project Details
- Replacement of aging sanitary sewer pipes to enhance water service to residents.
- Reduce water treatment costs by reducing the stormwater and groundwater that flows into the sewers.
- Extend the service life with newer, resilient sanitary sewer pipes.
Impacts To Be Expected
- Construction noise between 7am to 7pm.
- Vehicle traffic between 7am and 3pm along contructions areas and side streets.
- Limited sidewalk closures.
- Traffic control personnel will assist and guide pedestrians.
