The City is seeking a regular full-time Bylaw Enforcement Officer to join their experienced team. Reporting to the Chief Bylaw Enforcement Officer, this inspectional and regulatory position involves investigation of complaints and enforcement of bylaws and other regulations with tact, impartiality, fairness, and sound judgement. The successful candidate for this role will be a self-starter and possess strong customer service, communication and conflict management skills.
RATE OF PAY: Pay Grade 19: $36.36 to $38.25 per hour (2024 CUPE rates)
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday*)
*5 consecutive days per week per Letter of Understanding

Grade 12 supplemented by training in bylaw enforcement, and sound experience in inspectional and enforcement work or an equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.
