Hosted by: Langley Overdose Response Community Action Team
Join us as we come together to honour the lives lost to overdose, support those who are grieving, and take action to end the stigma surrounding substance use and overdose. This free community event provides a space for remembrance, connection, learning, and hope. The gathering will feature a community BBQ, resource booths, naloxone training, live music and performances, powerful stories of lived experience, and opportunities to connect with local supports and services.
As the evening concludes, participants are invited to take part in a meaningful candlelight vigil and memorial space to remember loved ones and reflect together as a community.
Event highlights include:
- Community BBQ
- Resource and information booths
- Stories of lived experience
- Live music and performances
- Naloxone training and harm reduction education
- Memorial space for reflection and remembrance
- Candlelight vigil at dusk
Together, we can raise awareness, remember those we've lost, support those affected, and work toward a more compassionate community.
