Sons of Stanley are a high-energy live band known for turning every show into a full-spectrum crowd experience. Based in Vancouver, BC and touring locally and internationally, the band has performed extensively as the same core group of five, earning repeat bookings at bars, festivals, and major community events.

Their sound is built on an expansive, genre-spanning repertoire that moves effortlessly from classic rock, folk, and country to modern pop, hip-hop, and dance — often delivered through
creative mashups and medleys that keep sets fresh and unpredictable. From Tom Petty, AC/ DC, and Bob Seger to Billie Eilish, The Killers, Post Malone, and Dr. Dre, Sons of Stanley bridge generations on the dance floor.

Vancouver’s new musical tribute to Bon Jovi. Keeping it real, live and awesome!

From festivals to tribute shows, Bad Medicine entertains those “that were there”, and those that wish they were. Featuring all the hits from the 1980′s, and a few after, you will be amazed at their authenticity. A show for all ages! With a focus on replicating the high-energy performances and musical style of the legendary band, Bad Medicine has been entertaining fans and audiences with their renditions of Bon Jovi’s biggest hits. The band’s members have a deep appreciation for the music of Bon Jovi and are dedicated to capturing the essence of the group’s sound and style.

With a repertoire of classic hits such as “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and “Always,” as well as lesser known gems, Bad Medicine delivers a true-to-life Bon Jovi experience. The band members take great pride in their performances and aim to provide the audience with an unforgettable night of music and entertainment!

Mostly Marley started as a house gig, with the idea of bringing Classic Reggae to an otherwise starving audience. The name stems from having been asked; "What kind of music do you play?" The answer would always be; "Classic Reggae by various artists, but mostly Marley."

As a core band of four, a basic rhythm section consisting of Billy Mendoza on bass, hailing from Oahu Hawaii, is a much traveled and experienced musician whose consistent and tasteful playing contains the glue that holds it all together. Russ Klyne on guitar, also known for his work with his own band Salvador Dream, Namedropper, and also as K-OS musical director never ceases to amaze with new, fresh and innovative ideas. Tim Proznick on drums who is one of Vancouver's most sought after musicians. Credits include Daniel Wesley, Hey Ocean, Kyprios &  Sweatshop Union. Tilden Webb, has been known to grace us with amazing keyboards who is easily one of the best players in the country. And last but not least, Mike Henry on vocals, having been raised in Southern USA, is well rooted in Old School Funk and Soul, Gospel and Blues.

As a band, Mostly Marley performs with passion and they try to maintain credibility while also remaining true to the spirit of Reggae. Mostly Marley is a band that will take you on a musical odyssey with good times to be had by all.

Jackson Hollow is a Canadian bluegrass band known for powerful lead vocals, tight three-part harmonies, and a sound that blends traditional roots with a modern edge. The group has quickly built a reputation as one of Canada’s standout bluegrass acts, earning a 2024 JUNO Awards nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year for “Roses,” along with Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations for Ensemble of the Year and Traditional Singer of the Year.

Their momentum continues to grow with multiple singles reaching the Top 3 on the Banjo Radio chart and growing recognition across Canada and internationally. The band has also earned multiple International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Award nominations, along with 2025 and 2026 BC Country Music Association awards including Group of the Year, the Gaylord Wood Traditional Country Artist of the Year, and the 2026 International Achievement Award.

Their upcoming album, “Deep Blue Sky” (2026), builds on that momentum, bringing together a collection of songs grounded in real experiences and delivered with clarity and strong musicianship.

The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) will be located inside the West Hall of Douglas Recreation and Child Care Centre to host a sensory-friendly zone to support autistic individuals. This zone offers a quiet retreat from overwhelming crowds and include calming resources like fidget toys, quiet activities, and noise-canceling headphones.

To access the location, enter through the doors located on the west side of the facility. Look for the Canucks Autism Network Tent to help you find the location.

Science World will be bringing live science shows that families know and love from the iconic dome in Vancouver to Langley, BC!

The On The Road team will join in the celebrations at Langley's Community Day on June 13, 2026 with free public performances at 1pm (Science Surprises), 2pm (The Science of Sport),  and 3:30pm (Science Surprises). Come explore and celebrate Science with us and the whole community!

Science Surprises: This greatest hits show includes some of the most iconic offerings from Science World’s repertoire of demonstrations. Enjoy the electricity of the hair-raising Van De Graaf Generator and all the other spinning, falling, flying demos that science world is best known for.

The Science of Sport: Are you ready to play smarter? This high-energy show unpacks the fascinating science behind your favourite sports. Discover how we use science to perfect our game by exploring concepts like Energy, Forces and Health. Whether you’re a sports fan or science nerd (or both!) these interactive demonstrations and heart-racing challenges will change the way you see the game.

To ensure the success and safety of the festival, some road closures will be necessary, and we wish to make you aware of those closures so you can plan accordingly.

Did you know Langley City offers a FREE Bike Valet services at the Community Day festival? If you are considering alternative transportation options to attend the event the Bike Valet is available for the public to provide a safe a secure location to store your bicycle, scooter, stroller or mobility device.

What is a Bike Valet?
A bike valet is a coat check for bikes and other mobility devices such as scooters, skateboards, and strollers. Customers drop off their ride, and the valet staff provide them with a valet ticket and park it for them in a secure area that is monitored by City staff and volunteers at all times. When customers return for their ride they provide the valet staff with their valet ticket, and the staff retrieve it and provide the ride to the customer.

How much does it cost to utilize the bike valet?
There is no cost to use the bike valet, this is a FREE service provided by Langley City.

Where will the bike valet be located at the event?
The bike valet will be located in the Douglas Park Pickleball Courts for the event? The entrance and valet staff will be located on the west side of the pickleball courts. There will be a bright orange Bike Valet sign located at the tent to help you find the location.

What time will the bike valet be open for the event?
The bike valet will open at 10:30 am and will close at 7:30 pm.

The Community Day Festival is held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 outdoors at Douglas Park (20550 Douglas Crescent) in Langley, BC and is open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The Community Day Festival is held on the is situated on the traditional unceded territory of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qw̓ ɑ:nƛ̓ ə̓ n̓ (Kwantlen), Mathxwí (Matsqui), and SEMYOME (Semiahmoo) First Nations.

Walking: If you live in the neighbourhood, we encourage you to leave your vehicle at home and walk to the event location.

Cycling: Langley City provides a free bike valet service where you can secure your bike in a safe location that is monitored by security and city committee volunteers and staff.

Driving: Limited free parking is available on the surface lot and underground lot of Timms Community Centre.
