Bylaw 3205 - Zoning Bylaw Amendment No. 187 and Development Permit No. 14-21

Council gave final reading to Bylaw 3205 which  rezones the properties located at 5494-5508 Brydon Crescent & 19890 55A Avenue from RS1 Single Family Residential Zone to the CD83 Comprehensive Development Zone to accommodate a 6-storey, 92-unit apartment development at the subject properties.  Council subsequently approved the Development Permit Application for this development.

Bylaw 3178 - Zoning Amendment No. 178 (RZ 05-21) and Development Permit DP 07-21

Council gave final reading to Bylaw 3178 to rezone the properties located at 20137 & 20139 Fraser Highway from the C2 Service Commercial Zone to the C1 Downtown Commercial Zone to accommodate a 6-storey, 144-unit apartment and 841 m2 commercial mixed-use development.  Council subsequently approved the Development Permit Application for this development.

Arts, Recreation, Culture & Heritage Committee - Rotary Centennial Park Washroom Murals

Council approved up to $10,000 from the public art fund to be used on a mosaic mural (north wall) and a painted mural (east wall) on the Rotary Centennial Park washroom building incorporating the theme of flight and movement.

Proposed Amendments to Council Policy CO-45 Solicited or Unsolicited Gifts or Benefits Received by Members of City Council

Council approved amended Council Policy CO-45 Solicited or Unsolicited Gifts or Benefits Received by Members of City Council.

Award of Tender T2022-011, 46 Avenue Storm Sewer

Council awarded Tender T2022-011, 46 Avenue Storm Sewer to Klondike Infrastructure Ltd. based on the tendered amount of $549,124.68 (excluding GST) and authorized  the Director of Engineering, Parks and Environment and the Corporate Officer to execute the contract document for T2022-011, 46 Avenue Storm Sewer to Klondike Infrastructure Ltd.

Late In-Kind Grant Application ( Terry Fox Run)

Council awarded a community grant totalling $1,083 to the Terry Fox Foundation – 2022 Terry Fox Run.
