The Station Café, a vibrant new community space designed to bring residents together to share ideas and help shape Langley City’s future.
“The Station Café is more than a place to grab an affordable meal—it’s a space for people to connect, share ideas, and get involved,” said Mayor Pachal. “By bringing the community together, the café complements other key initiatives this year, such as the Citizens’ Assembly and the 2025 Village Café Series, which give residents a real opportunity to shape Langley City’s future.”
This milestone event marks a step forward in creating a more connected and inclusive community. Guests can experience the Café’s welcoming atmosphere, enjoy fresh, affordable food, and take part in activities that celebrate Langley City’s culture and spirit.
Grand Opening Event Details
Date: Tuesday, February 25, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Welcome ceremony at 10:00 a.m., coffee and treats available at 11:00 a.m.)
Location: The Station Café, Timms Community Centre (North entrance)
The Station Café is Langley City's newest community hub, offering fresh, locally sourced food, and engaging civic activities. At the grand opening, guests can learn about the Village Café series and participate in prize giveaways.
A hub for community and public engagement
The Station Café was created by and for the community—developed with input from local residents, students, and organizations to serve as a safe, accessible, and welcoming space. Supported by funding from the Union of British Columbia Municipalities, the Café aims to enhance community connections and civic engagement.
