The City is seeking a Regular Part-time Building Service Worker in the Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for janitorial duties, small repairs, and maintaining various City Facilities.
RATE OF PAY: Pay Grade 15: $33.23 - $34.77 per hour (2024 CUPE rates).
HOURS OF WORK: 28 hours per week. Starting assignment: Mondays and Tuesdays 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays 4:00pm – 12:00am.
The choice of our comprehensive benefits package or a percentage (16% of regular earnings) in lieu of benefits is included.
A Building Service Worker Certificate from a recognized institution and at least two years related experience are desired. A valid Emergency First Aid Certificate and valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence are required. Details of the position and its requirements can be found in the job description.
