Special Voting Opportunity:

A Special Voting Opportunity will be provided, as authorized by the chief election officer. Details to be determined. 

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, eligible Langley City voters will vote at Timms Community Centre to elect:

  • One Mayor
  • Six Councillors
  • Two Langley School Trustees (SD35)

The Mayor, Councillors, and School Trustees serve a four-year term (2026–2030).

  • Draw to determine the order in which School Trustee candidate names show on the ballot. This follows the immediate official declaration of candidates 
  • Candidate election signs can go up, per Sign Bylaw, after 4:00 pm 
  • Period of objection to registered electors ends at 4:00 pm

Period to challenge candidate nomination or elector organization endorsement ends at 4:00 pm

Last day, you must have owned property for 30 days to register as a non‑resident property elector on General Voting Day.

  • Withdrawal of the candidate
