Full project description
This contract includes capping and abandoning the existing 450mm diameter storm main at 5475 201 Street while preserving the building’s drainage service from the outlet to the onsite manhole.
The storm sewer will be rerouted and upsized within the municipal right-of-way, extending a 525mm diameter storm main north along the west side of 201 Street to connect to the existing 750mm diameter system on 55A Avenue.
Downstream infrastructure will also be upsized from 750mm diameter to 900mm diameter to accommodate the rerouted flows.
The work will improve conveyance capacity, eliminate the storm sewer main on private property, and allow easier access for maintenance purposes
