BC Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. It is a week of fun filled interaction and a celebration intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities. This event is intended to highlight the interests, accomplishments, and diversity of youth across the province.

Pool Party
May 1, 3:30pm to 10:00pm. Drop-In. Join us for our Youth Week Kick-Off Party at the Pool. There will be a BBQ, Swimming, Karaoke, and more! Supported by Encompass.

Free Comic Book Day Party at FVRL
May 2, 11:00am to 4:00pm. Drop-In. Come in to get comic books, enjoy pizza, video games and more... all for free!

Youth Night Party
May 2, 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Drop-In. Youth Night turned up a notch! Fun games and prizes all night.

One Day Chef Youth Week Special
May 3, 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Registration Required. Learn how to cook or bake something special in this special FREE one day chef class to celebrate Youth Week.

Make Your Own Stuffies
May 5, 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Registration Required. Youth will create their own one-of-a-kind plush animals using soft, easy-to-bend jumbo pipe cleaners.

Girls Social with Encompass
May 7, 5:00pm to 7:30pm. Drop-In. Crafts, Snacks, Chats. Repeat. Facilitated by City and Encompass staff. Just remember...Girls only!
FREE Access for Youth Week
With a valid Youth Week Activity Pass, youth have unlimited access to youth drop-in sports in the gymnasium, the games room, and the weight room (age restrictions apply) at Timms Community Centre. See below for more details and hours of operation.
