Langley City, BC – The holiday season shines brighter when we come together and celebrate what makes our community special. The Magic of Christmas is Langley City’s annual celebration that brings residents together and creates moments of connection.
“The Magic of Christmas is a reflection of who we are as a city,” said Mayor Nathan Pachal. “It’s about sharing traditions, building relationships, and strengthening the sense of belonging that defines Langley City. These events are part of the city's vision for a vibrant, safe, and inclusive community.”
Kick off the season with family and friends at a free community event that brings festive cheer to the heart of the city. Join us on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. outside Timms Community Centre.
This annual tradition features:
- Official welcome by Mayor and Council
- Live entertainment and musical performances
- Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Children’s holiday themed interactive games and crafts
- Roaming performers, including Snow Sisters and Christmas Elves
- Food trucks and festive treats
Plus, explore the Holiday Artisan Market in the Timms Community Centre gym:
- Saturday, December 6 — 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, December 7 — 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
