Public Notice: Water pressure fluctuation event resolved

Date

Earlier this morning, the residential area south of 48 Ave in Langley City experienced a brief period of lower than normal water pressure due to a malfunction of an automated control valve. This situation has been resolved, and normal water pressure has been restored. The cause of this malfunction is currently under review.

There is no known public health risk at this time.

Precautionary measures: If you notice any discoloration in water, run the tap until clear and notify the City through a request for service. Note that discoloured water is not a health hazard.
