For Immediate Release
Langley City, B.C. - The holiday season is a time for giving and community spirit. This year, the need for giving in Langley is greater than ever. The annual Christmas Wish Breakfast, benefiting the Langley Christmas Bureau, returns this year to help ensure local families and children experience the joy of Christmas.
Join Langley City on Tuesday, November 25, from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Newlands Golf and Country Club for a festive morning of giving. Guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy, gift card, or cash donation. In return, enjoy a complimentary breakfast knowing your gift will brighten someone’s holiday.
What's different this year
This year, demand for assistance is high, and unfortunately, donations are lower than in previous years. Every donation helps the Langley Christmas Bureau provide holiday joy and essential support, such as food and clothing, for families who might otherwise struggle during the season.
“The Christmas Wish Breakfast is more than an event. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together and support families who need a helping hand. Last year, we supported over 2000 children. This year, the demand is higher, and we’re asking everyone to help make a difference. Every toy, every gift card, every dollar counts,” said Graham Flack, Deputy CAO at Langley City.
