FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[Langley City, B.C.] The Langley Christmas Bureau is calling on residents and businesses to help close a $75,000 gap so hundreds of families and thousands of children can have holiday essentials this Christmas season. The spirit of giving is alive in Langley, but the need is greater than ever.
“Your thoughtful support blessed our family with food and essentials we needed, but also with a renewed sense of comfort, dignity, and hope this Christmas season,” shared one Langley Christmas Bureau client. “Your kindness brought light into one of our darkest moments, reminding us that we are not forgotten and that compassion still shines brightly in this world.”
Help us support hundreds of families and thousands of children
Families and children in the community rely on the Bureau for essential holiday support. This year, the Bureau has 82 dedicated volunteers who have given hundreds of hours to make this season brighter for our community.
“Every child deserves to wake up on Christmas morning with joy,” said Patty Lester, Coordinator of the Langley Christmas Bureau. “Thanks to the generosity of the community, we’re making that possible — but we still need your help”.
