208 Street and Fraser Highway
We're moving the concrete barriers and curbs to create a dedicated pedestrian and cyclist lane along Fraser Highway to help keep our community safe and connected. During this time, there will be some traffic impacts.
When: December 1 to January 22, 2026 (weather permitting)
Lane closures: 7:00AM-7:00PM
There will be no right turn from 208 Street onto Fraser Highway. Traffic will be moving, but expect delays.
Detour: Use Langley Bypass via 208 and Fraser Highway

Road Closure Alert: 198 St (54 Avenue to 55A Avenue)
From Jan 21 to Feb 20, 198 Street (54 Avenue to 55A Avenue) will be one-way southbound only (northbound is closed) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for sanitary main replacement.
- When: January 21 to February 20, 2026 (weather permitting) from 7:00AM-7:00PM
- Lane closures: 198 Street (54 Avenue to 55A Avenue) southbound one-way open, northbound closed
- Detours: via 198 St, 53 Ave, 200 St, and 56 Ave.
- Normal traffic resumes evenings and weekends.
